There are number of buses avaialble from ISBT delhi to Dharamshala and Mcleodganj. After reaching Dharamshala either you can take a roadways bus to Mcleodganj which is 10 kms away from ISBT bus stand Dharamshala. Shared Taxis are also available from Kotwali Bazar to Mcleodganj.

HRTC AC Volvo buses are available from ISBT Kashmere Gate Delhi. Private operators also offers bus service from Delhi to Dharamshala. The private AC volvo deluxe and non AC buses are available from Majnu Ka Tila near Kashmere gate ISBT.

The best way however to reach Mcleodganj from Dharamshala is to take Khada Danda Marg and you can go trekking in this route. Mcleodganj is just 3 kms from Kotwali Bazaar via Khada Danda Marg. The single road is well maintained and the panoramic view of the entire Kangra Valley from this route is amazing.

Nearest Airport from Mcleodganj is Gaggal Airport around 20 Kms from Mcleodganj. Daily flights from Delhi to Gaggal are available.

Nearest Broad guage railway station from Mcleodganj is Pathankot around 90 Kms. You can also take a toy train from Pathankot to reach Kangra Mandir Railway station. From Kangra Mcleodganj is around 30 Kms.
